We already pay for Copilot. Why would we need Mandel?

Because they do different jobs. Copilot makes your buyer faster at the work they've already decided to do. Mandel does the work nobody got to — reading every thread, tracking every open order, catching the delay or price change before it reaches production. If your team's problem is that drafting emails is slow, Copilot is the answer. If it's that things slip through, it isn't.

Does Mandel replace ChatGPT or Copilot?

No, and we'd be suspicious of anyone who told you it did. Most of our customers run both. An assistant sits with the individual and helps them write and search; Mandel sits over the whole supplier communication channel and coordinates it. They overlap at 'reads your email' and diverge everywhere after that.

Couldn't we build this ourselves with a custom GPT or Copilot Studio?

You could build a piece of it. What's hard isn't prompting a model over an inbox — it's the supply chain data model underneath: resolving which PO line a message refers to, reconciling a packing list against an order, knowing that a date change matters more for one part than another, and syncing all of it to your ERP without creating bad records. That's the part that takes years, not the chat interface.

Isn't Mandel just a wrapper around the same models?

Mandel uses frontier models and we're not shy about it — the models are the easy part to buy. What sits on top is the part that took years: the supply chain data model, the reconciliation logic, the ERP integrations, and the evaluation harness that catches a bad extraction before it reaches a customer's order book.

We're a Microsoft shop. Does Mandel fit?

Yes. Mandel connects to Outlook and Microsoft 365 directly, alongside your ERP — and to Gmail if you're on Google. There's nothing for your team to migrate and nothing for your suppliers to adopt. They keep emailing exactly as they do now.

How is our email data handled?

An assistant is only as good as the question put to it. Ask it to summarize a thread and it will, well. But nobody wakes up and thinks to ask about the supplier who went quiet three weeks ago, or the acknowledgment that came back with a different date.
